Tinted R8 Pics

Does anyone have a picture of a tinted Ibis White (or Suzuka) R8. A spyder would be preferable, but I will take what I can get.

Trying to decide whether or not to tint my spyder, thinking 30-35% on the side and rear windows. Let me know what you guys think, yay or nay. Thanks in advance

Just got my spyder done today with 35% ceramic tint in NYC. So far so good, just needs a day or two to cure. I was on the fence earlier in the week, but i think the car looks great with tint and it should provide superior heat rejection come summertime.

Tinting was performed at Art of Tint by Tom Kovach in just over two hours. He went to great lengths to set the film properly with a heat gun. This is important as the windows roll up and down slightly each time the doors or opened & closed. Will post up a better pic when the film cures fully and it stops raining so I can clean my car thoroughly.

won't you get pulled over with 35% tints in NYC?

I have CT plates where the legal limit is approx 35%. Also unlike NY, while front plates are also required, it is rarely enforced in CT.

I know this is a stupid question, but how dark the 35's on the r8 windows? I am still deciding on what percentage to do on mine, any opinions?

I personally wouldn't go much darker than 35% as it makes it difficult to see at night. I'm sure that there are others that may disagree, but here are a couple pics I have at different angles. Obviously tint will look lighter with the top down vs top up. Hope this helps
