Red Spyder at dealership

Snapped these pics when picking my R8 up from service. Red spyder with carbon mirrors and titanium wheels. Like the colour, not sure I dig the carbon mirrors

Was gonna say you're crazy to not like the c.f. mirrors, but in this case I agree. Without having the c.f. sideblade, it does look kind of.....off?

Wow - I'm on board with you guys. I like the c/f mirrors on coupes, but on this car not so much. Who would have thought?

Kind of like the Ti colored goat horn V10 wheels - they look great in Ti, in silver I find them hideous.

It's interesting how things can look so nice in one instance and not in another.

Different strokes for different folks. I love all my CF trim on my Spyder, especially the mirrors. But then, I've never been a side blade fan in the first place and grew up in the sixties when sports cars always had ragtops and sometimes didn't even have windows and coupEs were GT cars, not sports cars. All a matter of perspective, I guess and there's an a$$ for every saddle, otherwise....
