Eisenmann attacks the Nurburgring!

Rolf Eisenmann has been a motorsport enthusiast long before he established Eisenmann GmbH, but his company’s 20 year success as one of the leading exhaust system suppliers in Germany to people like Porsche AG and Mercedes AMG GmbH has allowed him some unique privileges, and one of those privileges has been to be involved with professional racing.

Eisenmann GmbH has been involved in extensive development of the exhaust system for Team SportAuto’s Audi R8. A collaborative effort between Bilstein, BBS, Dunlop Tire, and Eisenmann GmbH, this car has been competing in 24 endurance races on the Nurburgring in the SP7 class since 2008.

That race R8 was made BEFORE the R8 LMS was released. It is made completely without Audi.

I would prefer that these guys sell similar wide body panels from the race car for a very reasonable price. For the track, wider tires would be great for the bigger HP R8's!

Pretty good sound in that crazy looking white R8, but you need to post HP dyno charts and weight improvement stats and also a video of the V10. Both are valved exhausts. Right?

I wonder about the RACE part of the name, cuz I have never seen a race car with a valved exhaust. But it would be perfect for DE's at Laguna Seca and other sound restricted race tracks.

I remember when that blue race car was entered in the 2008 24hr Nurburgring, but it broke before the start. Was it ever raced after that?

This white R8 sure has a different look about it.
