So.... I'm online surfing a forum I frequent quite often, and come across a picture taken of my car (unbeknownst to me) with this caption! This person mentioned it was taken just yesterday in Schaumburg (a suburb of Chicago). I liked it so much, I added the "LIFE" title, and made it into this poster..

It is funny in a nasty way, true in some senses, but it's tacky IMO. An expensive car does not make a person successful. There's much more to life, much more to be successful at and accomplish than the accumulation of wealth or goods. I'd love an R8, but I don't need one, nor would I want it to define me as a person to others. Cars and especially these cars sure are fun though.

how did you tint your tails? i tried to tint my tails with smoke vinyl wrapping, but it was very hard to make it clean without bubbles :S

My shop, IND Distribution smoked them. They were done very lightly, although they do look dark in that picture.

i think the hater comment sometimes may stem from the people driving the cars. i remember, when i ordered my r8, i actually saw one at the gas station (and i never see them around!). so pretty excited, i pulled up, and just said, "hey, nice car." and the guy looked at me, rolled his eyes, smirked, and turned his head away like im some peon; what a d*ck! Lol. maybe i wasn't born into money, and i have to work for it, so the mentality is different but i think humility diminishes hate/envy.

moral of the story- to all the people on the forum lucky enough to drive r8's, don't be a d*ckhead to someone whose excited when seeing your car! Lol.
