The Ferraris are race cars: Challenge cars with open exhausts. My car is a legal street car.
I'd rather hear the sounds of tires squealing.

Wow and I thought BMW drivers were the biggest D-bags on the track. Lot's of egos in some of those Ferrari guys...running the inside entry in the bus stop on a M3 that needs the apex, thats just dumb for a track event. Looks like you have the same idea.

Awesome video, love the telemetry software you have. Growing up 30min from WGI it's has a special place in my heart, got to do some safe laps in a V10 last year but am impressed with what your cars doing being pushed. 152 before the bus stop is great in a non track dedicated car. I've been trolling here for a while trying to gather info before I purchase, and I have to say this helps a lot. Looks like you got great weather too always a gamble this time of year.

Have you done much to your R8? I can only imagine how fun the bus stop would be with some stickier rubber. If you go to VIR, It would be awesome if you made a similar post. Moving to Richmond VA so it looks like VIR will be my new "Home" track and could use the video for track study ; >

Yeah, that's some great video, and very nice driving. The tire squeal sounds terrific, and it looks like you're managing it very well.

The system was Skylinehd.com. I paid $100 to get the session recorded. They put the HD camera on the back window, GPS sensor outside, and a module was plugged in to the OBD II port and recorded the data. I'm not sure how they synched it with the video.
It was cool, cloudy and 45 that morning. The mods to the car were Pagid brake pads and Proxes R888 tires, set sport suspension and ASR set to sport. My first track event was with the Porsche club in 1980. I was trying to drive at 8/10th, instead of 9/10s so I'd look smooth.

You can make something similar yourself using the app 'Harry's Laptimer' for the iPhone and iPad which will gather the data and Dashware software for the PC to take the data from Harrys laptimer and produce it into a nice video with telemetry overlay.
