Picking Up My Orange V10 Tomorrow

After 6 months of waiting for delivery, and a couple of weeks waiting for little customization bits to be done, I'll be picking up my 2011 R8 V10 coupe tomorrow. The color could be a bit polarizing, but I wanted a design scheme to liven up the R8. The interior is a simple black with alcantara headliner and piano black accents (as per the titanium package). I had the wheels powdercoated because the titanium-finish wheel just wasn't dark enough. I'm moving from a black 997 turbo, so it'll be nice to have a color that's a little more lively.

Stunning! Makes me more determined to wrap my car orange now. Will be within the next couple of months. Im guessing the black badges is part of the black pack?

Oddly enough, the badges were still chrome. I ordered another set and had them painted black. I'd recommend Audi offer a black badging option in the titanium package as well as a black wheel option. In any case, the painting and the powdercoating of the wheels wasn't a big deal at all.

Gotcha, ye audi really should as black badges look amazing on certain colors such as yours or white. What is the color of your car called? I was tempted to go for a more redish orange similar to what the gallardo can be ordered in.

I would opt for a Black Chrome option from Audi. (for certain color cars). Some R8s just POP with CHROME badging.

Congratulations on your car. The colour is really seldom. I think carbon fiber mirrors would match the colour perfectly. Please post some photos of the interior
