TheSubtleCount and I took our body-color-matching side blades down CA HWY 25 and 198 to Harris Ranch for some excellent beef.
Bovine-induced stupor resulted in a few photos before we felt ready for the bracing return.

Now that's a rare sight! 2 body color bladed cars together!! They both look great. What are the colors on both, and do you happen to have more pics of them?
And those ceramic brakes are sweet!
2010 Ibis white/Audi exclusive leather w/Alcantera inserts. ~HRE M40's ~Quicksilver titanium exhaust ~Bunch of MaCarbon interior bits ~
Is there an R8 which does not look great? (except those horrible, totally without taste modded kid racer versions)
Nvrl8r8, yes, it was indeed a rare sight. I commented to Moggy that how often will people see 2 R8's together, let alone 2 body colored ones. Moggy's is Sepang blue, and mine is an Audi Excluse color called Oak Green metallic. Apparently it's so rare, that even Audi USA support asked me for some pics.
I'll be adding some preliminary shots today to the "gallery", and then more sophisticated ones later. TSC.
2012 V10 coupe, 6MT, Oak Green metallic with matching side-blade, Ceramic brakes, titanium wheels, enhanced leather, Alcantara headliner.
'95 BMW M3 (still wonderful, to be kept forever)
'91 Honda CRX Si (don't laugh, it's nimble and great fun, and, it's perfect for tight San Francisco parking spots!)

i like the no plates rule...like down here :-)
LOVE THE OAK GREEN
technomania, wish we did have a "no plate" rule, but alas, no! You probably didn't notice the small registration sticker attached to the bottom, right side of the front windshield. That's until we get our plates.
Many drive without a front plate here in California, but I've gotten a ticket once on a parked car in Berkeley. Perhaps they might have skipped it, had it been an R8, but I'm not holding my breath.
