2012 V10 coupe Oak Green metallic pics

Hi all, I've posted some preliminary pics of my 2012 V10 coupe in Oak Green metallic, in the Gallery.

It is an Audi Exclusive color, which means you pay extra ($4,500 + $1,000 for the color bodied side-blade).

I'm posting it mainly to show what it looks like, since even Audi USA support asked me for pics...I guess it's that rare.

The car will look almost olive on an overcast day, but a sort of "glowing" green/olive with a tinge of brown at other times. I'll be taking more pictures with a professional camera, so keep checking the Gallery.

Hey CALBenzo, appreciate the thought. Yes, it does look better in person, although the shots taken by Alexander do indeed show it to be olive on an overcast day, or when the sun goes down. What's amusing was that when I went with Moggy for our Harris Ranch run, I parked in a shopping mall parking lot, and at one point, it blended in so well, that I almost didn't find it! I guess green plus green trees = invisible.

I'll also agree that it's a beautiful color. It's low key - almost stealth - and then the sun hits it just right and it SHINES!

We got plenty of positive reactions heading down 101.

Interesting factoid. TSC smoked me on hwy 25 - which I attribute to his more aggressive, late braking - while I was faster on 198, which we both agree was due to my higher comfort level at the higher speeds in the sweepers.

Love the color! I would have went with Carbon Fiber Side-blades and mirrors, but the green looks sweet.

Really like the color, but being such a fan of c.f., I would have loved to have seen this color with some c.f. mirrors and side blades.
