    My modified R8 from Germany

    Hi everybody,

some guys already know me – now I’d like to introduce myself for everybody else

My name is Julian, I’m from Hamburg/Germany and I’ve been reading in this forum for about half a year.

I’m a passionate hobby mechanic, so my R8 V8 mustn’t stay at original condition

I will show you some pics at first, later and later – if you are interested??! – I will post many pics and comments to the several modifies.

    Regards Julian

    Thank you guys,

I got special H&R coilovers - adjustable in hardness and so on. The R8 is about 60mm lower, the standard H&R coilovers do just allow 40mm.

    Wheels are 20x8,5 and 20x11,5 - 235/30 20 and 295/25 20

Offset: front 40, rear 45 - spacers front and rear 8mm per wheel.

Engine is original - I'm looking forward to a supercharger

60mm lower !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the front and rear valance would be history on my drive!

Looks great, love the wheels but suspension travel must be rougly zero and if being driven on UK roads you would need to have a van following behind to pick-up all the parts that would be smashed off, a kidney belt would also be useful

    hahaha

It really works over here in Germany. Of course you have to be careful and it's not a setup for the racetrack - but the V8 is even not for the racetrack

Wow, that is the most slammed R8 I have seen. Looks like my Benz when one of the airshocks goes out! Looks good, but I'd be scared to drive over even the smallest speed bump. Love the contrast stitching!

Wow!! And I thought my car had a bunch of Audi exclusive options. There's leather everywhere in there. Even the power seat control panels!!!

That is how our interior should be rather than our cheapo plastic center console!
