Bodhii shoots flames

from his VF Engineering supercharged R8 V8 while leading the way at Miller Motorsports Park.

Yes, I know most of the virtual gauges don't work. The technology is great but can be so frustrating sometimes.

Nice! Odd that it only seems to shoot out of the left side. That's the same side your car decided to cook marshmallows with too. Must be something to do with the exhaust flow, eh?

When I was following Desperado at Road America his car had flames shooting from both sides going into turn 6. The glare from the sun on my windshield blocked it from showing in my video.

The V10s backfire bone stock as well, before the engines are warm. The first time I heard it I thought it was just a fluke, but then I noticed it was happening frequently after starting the car in the morning and before it had warmed up. I asked my Audi R8 tech and he said it's normal, and that it had to do with the fuel mapping when the engine is cold. It usually only lasts a few minutes. Typically by the time I'm 3/4 of a mile from my house it's gone.
