I was hoping they were going to "go at it!." Hoping for maybe a little better laptime showing for the R8 GT than what's been seen, since they HAVE done well in actual racing on the 'Ring.

According to Laptimes.com, the fastest 997 GT2 RS time (and pretty near the top) is 7:18:00; for the GT3 RS 4.0 7:27.00 and for the R8 GT 7:34:00. There are a LOT of cars above the R8 GT, including several Corvettes and Konigseggs, a GT-R MkII and a bunch of superexotics, an Enzo, a 458 Italia and a Viper. (this is for the Nordschleife)

The best R8 5.2 is at 7:44 and 4.2 at 8:01.90, beaten by a B7 RS4 at 7:58!!! (obviously, who's driving and probably who's prepping the car makes a BIG difference!--no way a 4.2 shouldn't beat a B7 RS4)

if they do drop a DSG in the revised V10 i expect ring time busting laptimes. 7:22 i predict.
