White R8 GT Spyder (Hockenheimring, GER)

Looks absolutely stunning in white with the black roof. I am not a convertible fan to say the least, and would take the R8 Coupe over the Spyder any day... until I saw this. Wow. I would take the GT Spyder (in white) over the GT Coupe strictly based on appearance. It may not have the visible engine or the blades, but it does have some presence.

I'm not sure... I didn't look to see if Europe had it as an option but I never remember reading about it either.

Either way, the windshield frame in carbon fiber caught my eye too. It looks incredible with the rest of the carbon fiber exterior pieces.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if it were Audi oem. I have a feeling the owner just had it wrapped or something of the like. But then again, who knows! lol

The carbon around the windshield is OEM and real carbon fiber. It is in all of there promotional videos.

I've seen a GT Spyder at the IAA at Frankfurt. The carbon around the windshield is definitely OEM and comes a a option
