Yes the side blades are just wrapped in carbon look film, I did think of removing it but it works with the look of the rest of the car.

I did think of an exhaust and did get offered a new quicksilver for under $1300 ,but Im going ot wait untill I have heard some in the metal before making a choice.
Just now it is stock with the valves locked open along with pipercross air filters and I'm more than happy with the sound.

I recognize your porsche from somewhere. Are you on e46fanatics?
How do you compare the R8 to the porsche in terms of daily driving and overall comfort? Looks great btw!

Im not on that site but the new owner may be , but I am in the UK so may just be one that looks the same.
The Porsche was ALOT faster as it had bigger turbos,coolers,remap.... so around 600bhp it also had 2 way Moton coilovers,GT3 roll bars, but the R8 is a totaly different drive as its much more compliant and has a smoother power delivery.

I got bored of the carbon wrap on the blades so removed it and think it changes the car a little without spoiling the dark look.
