    First Audi R8 clutch HT350 light Kevlar kit Hi Tech Exotic in Germany

    We wanted to thank Thomas for purchasing our lighter HT350 R8 Kevlar clutch. Thomas has the first HT350 in Germany. HT350 is lighter than a stock clutch and lasts 350% longer than a stock clutch. When a clutch is lighter, it makes the engine rev up faster and it makes a difference when an R8 engine revs up to 8,000 rpm.

    Thomas has already put 2,000 miles and the feedback has been great. He really likes the engagement and how smooth it is.

    What is the price difference for this lighter Kevlar clutch vs the standard Kevlar version?

    HT350 is in the testing stage so we don't have a set price yet. Right now, the price difference is between $500-1,000. We always like to do more testing so if you have a R-tronic, we can make a special deal on the HT350.

    Thank you. We thought so too. HT350 is manufactured from a billet aluminum so it doesn't need to be balanced. It comes balanced and that's why it is smoother. If you look at an oem clutch, there are dimples carved in that's because they are trying to balance the clutch. I'll keep you guys posted.

    To be clear, this is the first HT350 in Germany but it's not the first HT350. We have many HT350 in testing stages. Here is one of our customers with the HT350 light clutch. He is very happy with it.
