V10 Spyder Sepang Blue 6 speed

Want to buy 2011 (or thereabouts) V10, Spyder, Sepang Blue with 6 speed, and ideally nougat brown interior (black second choice... do not like beige interior) as close as possible to Pacific Northwest (for shipping), near a major hub (to fly down and test drive). Recently went to see a V10 spyder gt but could not get into R-Tronic. Does anyone know what years Sepang blue was available? Thx in advance.

Re: V10 Spyder Sepang Blue 6 speed

For perspective on availability of Sepang, I wrote to Audi of America this past week providing my VIN and learned my 2012 V10 6-speed manual Sepang Blue coupe is one of SEVEN that were produced that year (of 212 V10 manual coupes overall for 2012).

Further, my combination Sepang with the interior leather color of black with Luxor Beige stitching is one of ONE for that year. I was rather surprised to learn this.

Sepang in the first generation I believe was available from 2010-2012 at least from ones I have seen.

Not sure what production of the V10 Spyders happens to be, but would expect the pool of those produced in Sepang Blue/V10 manual/non-beige interior could be a relatively small population. 2010-2011 possibly greater numbers, albeit small.

Good luck in the search as these are relatively rare in this color but is definitely worth it.

Thanks for the info. I thought the only trans in 2012 was a r-tronic, maybe that was just for the 2012 GT (which I was looking at but could not handle the R-tronic). I prefer the ‘12 as it has several packages that I would want, for example the CCB’s, and carbon fiber packages. As for interior color, I could get used to the beige, but would prefer black. Spyder is a must!!

How many Sepang Blues have you seen?

Re: V10 Spyder Sepang Blue 6 speed

I have always been under the impression Sepang is rather rare, I don't know that I've ever seen a manual sepang spyder, but I hope at least one exists haha.

I'm fairly confident I have seen Sepang on Nougat in a spyder though, and the dealer I bought mine from had sold a similar spec (sepang/limestone) spyder a year or so earlier (both R-tronic from my recollection). They're out there, so if you really want Sepang I'm sure you can make it happen.

6-speed was available all Gen 1 years (through 2015), the GT was R-tronic only is my understanding. 2014-2015 offered the S-tronic or manual, if the R-tronic wasn't for you due to roughness, my understanding is the S-tronic is much smoother.

EDIT: Saw the second comment in the thread, good to know there's a matching spec spyder to my car... if only I had the money for both right now . Still on Ebay
