Sold my Gen 2 wheels to a member here on the board. He's putting them on a Gen 1 V10.
Pix are in order of manufacture.
66.5" spigot bore of the Gen 2 rim
Outer diameter roughing
Inner diameter boring (then finish cut outer to make sure all runs perfectly true)
Spacer in hand
Spacer in wheel
I expect we'll see pix of Gen 2 wheels on a Gen 1 here soon.
How about the 20" 10-spoke-Y design with 245/30 front and 305/30 rear summer tires? Or is it only the 5 spoke Gen2 wheels that will fit with the spacers
I really want the ten spoke stock gen 2 wheels....
What you're seeing in the pictures is the Gen 2 V10+ wheels.
I'm not sure what size tires you'll need - fronts are the same between generations, rears are larger in diameter on the Gen 2 than the Gen 1 by about an inch in overall diameter.
Somewhere there's a post with cross reference sizes for correctly sizing 20" tires for 20" rims on the Gen 1 cars.
I'm the guy who bought them. Pretty excited the tracking number says I will have them on Wednesday and I have an appointment Friday morning to get the tires mounted and the wheels put on the car with HnR springs all at once .
I will post pics Friday afternoon when it's all done.
STR racing makes a 20 spoke that looks like the Gen 2 wheel and it has a 66.6 mm center bore. Does it need a spacer like the one shown here? Does someone sell them, or was this a one-off deal?
The size and offset is a little off of stock, but should work fine.

thank you for the information!! When I went to buy the sensors on Amazon I noticed it said the years these sensors fit were from 2009 to 2017, I have a 2008 - will these work for a 2008?
Inspired by this thread, I finally got round to fitting the Gen 2 v10 Plus wheels to my Gen 1.
-As above, 66.6 to 57.1 Spigot Rings for the REAR ONLY. I went for aluminium and purchased from spigotrings.co.uk.
-I swapped over my original TPMS sensors so didn’t buy new ones.
-Running P zeros, FRONT: 245/30/ZR20 REAR: 305/25/ZR20.
So far I’ve been quite pleased that it isn’t obviously noticeable versus my previous setup (stock 19” gen 1 v10 rims). However I’m not sure the rear is filling the arch sufficiently with my 305/25/20 on the rear. What do you think?
Do you get any rubbing on the fronts on full lock?
Do you get any issues with the AWD system with those tyre diameters? I thought you had to return the rears on lower profile? If not I might change to the larger profiles next time I need new tyres.
Sorry to revive this old post, but seems like a lot of people here got the Gen 2 wheels on their Gen 1. I just purchased a set and the rears are 305/30/20
I see many people here went with 305/25/20 or 295/30/20.
Anyone run 305/30/20? Mostly worried about rubbing. The revs per mile are lower, which is 741 revs/mi compared to stock 305/30/19 which is 770 revs/mi.
I see mixed opinions on whether or not this would cause an issue with the AWS system.
I will be running 305/30/20 rears, but decided to go 235/35/20 fronts. Less than 3% variance front to back, and less than 4% variance to stock. Hope that doesn't mess with the system, but everything I'm reading says it shouldn't.
I just threw mine on with 245/30/20 front and 305/30/20 rear and they fit fine. The sidewall in the back looks a bit too tall for my liking and they are due for replacement so I will probably go with something a bit smaller
