    Mystery Fob

Hi Guys, Recently bought a second hand R8 and the guy who sold it to me didn’t really know all too much about it. When I got the car keys it has this fob attached to it, but I have no idea what it does. Anyone know what it is?

Looks like either a garage remote or to open an electric gate mate. I’ve got one like it for work entrance

Yep that's for a Capristo exhaust! What a great bonus you didn't know was on there! They are about £5-6k fitted I think.
I have it on mine, button 1: valves closed until 5k revs, button 4: valves fully open all the time.

    Taken from the Capristo manual:

By pressing the buttons 1, 2 or 4 the device will switch between the different
modes. In cruise mode (button 1), the valves open at higher engnie power.
In sport mode this already happens at lower backpressure. Button 4 open the
    valves permanently.
The internal radio transmitter is tuned to 88.1 MHz. It can display
information on the radio‘s display. With button 3 you can switches between
different screens. So you can display the current mode, the pressure or
overall status. Setup functions are also possible using the radio display.
