    I haven't noticed any cold start difference pre/post VF install.

    anyone actually know if the cold start is cut that short for a reason? I'm curious to know. I kinda of miss that sound.

    We do not actually modify the cold start sequence, or any of the emissions
    control functions for that matter.

    The length of time for sold start is not a fixed value, but rather based on
    numerous variables such as catalyst temperatures, O2 readings, etc...
    This is why when you re-start your car after a short drive, the sequence
    is MUCH shorter than you're first startup of the day, and why it's longer
    in the winter months than it is on warm summer afternoons.

    My cold start definitely was gone after the VF installation, until I recently upgraded to Carbon Ceramic Brakes. We had some coding issues, but got it sorted out. However, my cold start is back after taking time off for about three years, I think. It doesn't seem to rev as high as it did when I initially had the car under cold start conditions, but it is back. I also never had issues with my readiness codes, passed the NJ inspection without issue. I don't believe these are related, but it's back! I think it's some programmer's sense of humor.

    My Stasis (ie VF with a badge) SC does a factory cold start at about 30 secs +/-
