How has the powder coating held up? Thinking about doing the same on my '17 Ara Blue Plus.
It will hold up as long as you have the wheels. It’s quite durable. I’ve probably coated a dozen wheels and it’s lasted longer than I’ve owned any of them haha. Ceramic coat them and make it easy on yourself to clean.

Great, thanks for the info. Love the look and am trying to decide on new wheels or powder coating my Y spokes

Thinking about powder coating my stock 19 inch 5 spoke wheels and wanted an idea of how it looks.
I just did my OEM wheels, the shop in my area first put them in their Dip tank and stripped them to bare metal, then powered coated them in gloss black 2 coats. I was first thinking Bronze but Brian the owner pointed out others in the lot that were gloss black, and one was a Brilliant Red, as is my 2015 V10+ and that sealed my decision. I'll post pic's when I have time. Personal preference is what matters!! Good luck!!

Powder coating your stock 19-inch 5-spoke wheels can give them a fresh, sleek appearance while also providing added durability. A matte or gloss black finish is a popular choice, as it offers a modern, aggressive look that complements many vehicle styles. The powder coating process creates a smooth, even finish that's more resistant to scratches, chips, and fading compared to traditional paint, which is a great advantage for wheels exposed to rough conditions like road debris and brake dust. Depending on the color you choose—whether it's a bold matte, satin, or gloss finish—it can completely transform the look of your wheels, giving your car a more custom, high-end aesthetic. If you're aiming for a unique look, you can also explore different colors or even two-tone designs, which can enhance the visual appeal further. Just ensure the finish is done professionally for the best results.

I couldn’t find a bronze that worked with Vegas Yellow. I went this Honey Copper PMB 11157
