Hi Guys.

Today in normal driving conditions i have had the mil light come on for suspension.
2009 V10 manual - 19k miles. MAG ride car.

will update on the condition of the shock, going to check for bleeding as im aware its common to replace the shocks. have people seen this fault code before? hoping its just a sensor as a pose to replace MAG strut :S

to make my day even worse on scanning the car for this fault i have found a faulty oil temp sensor. any advise on that would also be appreciated.

Checked the strut.. would like to add that about 6 months ago i cleaned the strutt from dirt quickly with a cloth with WD40 on it.
attached a second picture after cleaning with break fluid.. not much oil at all on the strutt. i don't think its leaking but interested to what the failure mode actually looks like? what viscosity oil is inside?

Clear both the codes and see if they come back on.

The strut assembly does not look too bad.

Well both are easy fixes since the sensors are easily accessible.

When you remove the wheel you will see the level sensors by the control arms

Been researching all night, is the oil sensor the one on the oil level unit not the centre of the V of the block?

I didn't want to just spend money on a sensor for the suspension unless I was sure it was a sensor issue. Has this fault been seen before?

Can anybody get the part numbers required? Also anybody on here that people use for parts at a better price than dealers?

Front suspension sensor I think is?
HEIGHT SENSOR - 2010 AUDI R8 (420941274E)

Really stuck on the oil sensor required. Keep finding info on people changing the oil level sensor, not sure if it holds the level and temp?
OIL LEVEL SENSOR - 2010 AUDI R8 (420907660) seems to be a part named often.
Mentions of other fault codes different to mine on many threads

Manifold has to come off the install oil temp sensor.

Did you ever get this suspension. Light error sorted, I have the same problem now, but with a slightly different code, there’s hardly any info on it out there.
