My 2014 V10 VF-750 just turned over 70k miles, is performing beautifully, and deserves a nice birthday gift. So, I had the entire car protected with clear bra, and it's now getting new struts, control arm bushings, a new clutch, a carbon deposit cleanout, and anything else the mechanic finds along the way to achieve a full refresh.

I so love this car! It is so trouble free I can't believe it. I'm keeping it forever.

Hear, Hear! I've long ago said that my plan is to keep the R8 indefinitely.

Nice to see yours is both getting used AND receiving the TLC to keep it in top shape along the way. That's really the trick, I believe - if you're caring for the car along the way, you can keep it feeling as fresh/new as you'd like. If you fail to keep up with it, it'll turn into a restoration project at some point.

I have a 2008 white V8 coupe, just a tick under 60k miles and still loving it. I dont drive in the nasty West Virginia winters but otherwise use it regularly. Great car and rock solid. Congrats on 70k. Looking forward to reaching that milestone myself.

Lol, I remember when you first got your orange one, and when you were "gifted" that splitter. I had no idea you ran it that much.

I have the same set up!! Great to hear your success. I’m tempted to make my own pulley in CAD get a custom belt, better heat exchanger and minor tune tweak to go from 6.5psi to 9psi. What do you think?
I would be real careful with that. I know these are strong engines, but the extra boost might put the whole drivetrain at risk. With 750hp, I earned the privilege of purchasing a brand new DL800 dual clutch transmission simply by ignoring ONE transmission temperature warning light during a track event. After paying that bill, my veil of ignorance was lifted.
