Hi,

I need help. I installed aftermarket wing. When yo do so, you have to electronicaly disable wing open function. But when you do so, it mess up ESC.
When you switch off ESC and go beyond 170kmh or 100mph, the stability control switch back on by its self. And it is not possible to swicth ESC off when you go faster than 170kmh/100mph. This is very annoing on track. Anybody has any tips how to solve this problem? Should I go mechanical way? Or maybe should I try some coding and code off this function? Those who have aftermarket wing and track your car, how did you solve this.

And for fun, here are some burnout videos of my RWD R8 V10 plus :)))

We do not know if you bought this spoiler from German Rush however we would like to look into your issue considering we've sold a lot of spoilers that had to be deactivated just like yours if you send me your email address I will send you the code that we use and hopefully this will fix the problem.... and by the way you're crazy and we love it...... 200 mph 8100rpm

I am installing an aftermarket wing as well, so would also like details. Question, are any of you noticing this issue if you just unclick rear spoiler in vagcom, and/or is this if you actually change the code as another way of deactivating?

I have a GR wing and at 100 mph esc does come on after having been defeated but I can turn it off again- until this post I didn't realize that this was because factory wing is defeated- never noticed before wing

I tracked my car over the weekend. I added a large Prior Design wing to my car over the winter, and just turned off the wing via vagcom. No warnings came up other than my tail light warning from adding my F1 light to the diffuser.

I think the issue we're getting isn't the warnings, it's the sport traction getting disabled when we go over 100mph. I was tracking yesterday and it was a total pain to have to keep hitting sport traction - especially as I'm running turbos so the full traction setting has a mare when boost starts to come on.

Anybody have any solution?

a short question: can you manually put the OEM spoiler up and down when it is deactiveted? I assume not...or is there any coding solution to enable this?
Abviously I can wire it directly to the switch to enable this but I would love to avoid that if possible.

Once disabled, you cannot move it manually (not sure if you mean by hand) by hitting the spoiler button in the car.

Ok, I wasn't getting the sport traction cutting off, and was going 150 mph. Don't know what would cause yours too, model year?
