Ceramic brake life expectancy?

I had 100k even with track use.

how long do the pads last?
On the street, darned near forever. On the track, they wear like any pad being used on the track and they make loads of dust. Don't trust the sensor if you track the car either - they wear tapered and the leading edge wears down to the backing plate just about the same time the little sensor says "Hey, you need new pads."

So if i have 8K miles on the car and never tracked it, just general spirited driving on weekends... I should be fine to wait till my 10K service to get it inspected?
The brakes? Sure, they'll be just fine.

Now you do know about the judder in parking lots during a turn at very slow speeds and also that they can decide to squeak and make noise on occasion, correct?

Search the forum and you'll see that they do have some idiosyncrasies but overall they're stellar items with exceptional wear ability.

Brake pads wear like any steel rotor pads, Ceramic rotors will last indefinitely when
driving normal street. Tracking 25 to 40 track days. My track car is a 14 991 PORSCHE
Turbo S, 50 k miles , just put my 3rd set of Ceramic rotors on!
On the street the ceramic setup doesn't go through pads much at all. I really only saw wear on the track.

I've heard quite a few Porsche owners state that their ceramic rotors wear out quite quickly but can tell you from experience that the Audi rotors seem to have much longer life. Pads, on the track, do wear out relative to the use.
