Hi Guys,
Does anyone know if I will need to upgrade my injectors and or fuel pump in a Gen 1V10?

I'm upgrading my engine to in an attempt to achieve 736 HP and if that's stable I may go for a VF super charger. If I do super charge the math states I should get around 991 hp, but I'll have to see.
Any help will be gratefully received

So far I have purchased:
R8 V10 5.2L Racing +0.5 oversized Valve kit (20x EV-8 Intake and 20x Inconel 751 Exhaust)
PPM Sesto Elemento V10 Billet EN40B Crankshaft
PPM-RACING AUDI R8 V10 5.2L Forged Pistons kit, Compression Ratio 13.1:1 (Bore size 84.5mm)
ARP Beehive Valve springs
2020 Gen 2 Cams:
07L109101BQ: CAMSHAFT- (ASPIRATION - CYLINDER 1-5)
07L109103AP: CAMSHAFT- (ASPIRATION - CYLINDER 6-10)
07L109102AN: CAMSHAFT- (EXHAUST - CYLINDER 1-5)
07L109104Q: CAMSHAFT- (EXHAUST - CYLINDER 6-10)
King Race Bearings (Main & Rod)
H-beam Carrillo rods
LMS (200 Cell) Exhaust manifold
Capristo valved Exhaust

All that is left to get is;
HT350 Kevlar clutch, CNC Head the heads and probably an Anti gravity battery

I also plan on weighing all of the parts to see how much is gain/lost in weight in rotational mass.

I forgot to add that I intend to tune it to 9.5k rpm with the limiter at 9.75-10K.
I thought that 670 HP was the top end for the Gen 2, but with the additional parts and the increase in Compression, the math shows 736 should be achievable and the worst case scenario shows 701?

I was once told that the limit of the B7 RS4 was 450, but I managed to get mine to 470, so I'm going to trust the math and see what happens.
The car was at dyno'd 601 (below) and the prediction of the STM increase is well know so that is where the 610.2 came from.

Sorry I made an error on the supercharged figures, I forgot had updated data which changed the predicted output.
I've added the output of the calculation sheet below, it takes into account all three engine CR 12.5,12.7 and the predicted 13.1. The bold figures are confirmed actuals of my car.

For maximum performance, the engine must deliver the oxygen into the cylinders and there must be no exhaust gas residues in the cylinders.

Limiting the air is the throttle body and spontaneous ignition.

Nice! How much of a pain in the ass was the headliner? I’ll be going with some custom Sportsters soon and would want to match the centers to the headliner/door cards.

The headliner wasn't an issue, but the extra padding to achieve the effect has raised the temperature in the car, so it's aircon or the windows open above 15C ambient temperature. The doors are original as they were from the factory and I spent a few weeks looking at the Samples from upholsterer, checking the contrast in various light situations, so that I could get the exact match. The most difficult part was the centre console, the curves under the hand break make it difficult to cut and shape, it didn't help that I insisted on Nappa leather instead of the thinner stuff. so we went with Alcantara. I'll probably get that changed when I've finished the engine work.

Fair point, but if the F12 superfast can achieve 789hp N/A, admittedly with two more cylinders, it must be possible to supply enough air. But you're right, the question must be, how big do the throttle bodies to be and is the air flow of the audi inlet manifold efficient enough to supply all cylinders equally?
It's good to hear your thoughts it can only help to cover all the bases.
Throttle body link to the Superfast, but I can't see the dimensions.

Look 800HP / 6.5L are 123.1HP / L better is the 458 with 605HP / 4.5L are 134.4HP / L.

Would they work well then 5.2L would reach 130HP / L.

Remember, the V10 is a two R5 engine.

Have you heard horror stories or is that a word of caution?
Due to the intended increase in RPM and the CAM change it seemed like a good precaution.

I've also just had an update from PPM, I'll have to wait a little more for their parts as Melbourne is in lockdown.

Does anyone know where I can get a fluidampr pulley, I've tried VF but they will only supply it with the supercharger?
