Anyone have extended warranty on their gen 2 and could share how much they paid?

I picked up a 2017 R8 plus with 20k kms about 5 months ago and just insured it. Looking to get a 2 year / 60k kms warranty if possible. Any advice on which companies or dealers to call? Thanks

I bought the 108 month for $3460.00 quoted but only paid $3010.00 as they offered a $450.00 discount. Also if I don't use the warranty I think I get back around $1000.00 after it expires.

I also got the extended warranty, I got the 4yr/80kms and if I don't use it, I'm able to renew it for a small price to cover the car again

Look closely at what this covers as I believe some packages (silver, gold) are only drivetrain coverage and current prices are higher than the 2019 numbers listed above. Note that the term is from the in service date as well, not the expiry of the initial warranty.

I bought the two year in 2020 b/c my car had such low miles and I was nervous about issues due to sitting and it being the 1st yr of Gen 2. I had zero problems from 6000kms to 18000kms where I am now, so decided not to buy any additional warranty when it expired in december.

Also you can only get audi warranty if your car is currently under warranty or you are buying from an Audi dealer.

Correct. My pricing was higher as it was done later year wise.

My main worry is something going wrong with the transfer case / transmission. I notice a slight jerking/shudder when I first start the car and pull out of my driveway and onto the street. I read some older threads that it might be the quattro system but I had this same shudder (although much much worse) with my Cayenne and it ended up being a transfer case which cost $10k.

Kinda on the same boat. 2017 R8 and my 2 years just expired from Audi. I believe it would cost around $5k for Audi care 2 year extension.

3rd party is risky, as they will not cover as they have alot of conditions.

Touch wood, the R8 has been solid so far.
