Beautiful, it's daytona gray right? Are those oxygen silver sideblades? I'm debating whether to get them...
I think I still have some time to change the color of my side blade. I have Phantom Black with Lava Gray side blades on order, but I'm beginning to like the silver sideblade on the black.

Looks fantastic! Daytona Grey / Oxygen silver I think. I have Daytona Grey / Carbon sideblades due 3rd quarter - Still time to change. Having seen the car, how do you rate Oxygen Silver? Does it show every mark?

Daytona Grey looks a bit dark - how is it in daylight?

Cheers

Ok now I’ve had it 24hrs, a few things ...firstly the manual transmit ion I think is heavy and if I will not be driving this car to London (if I was in traffic like this Friday on the M6 I would have a sore leg and a burnt out clutch)
Daytona Grey Oxygen Silver Blade.
So far the weather has been really terrible and that is reflected on the paintwork it’s absolutely stinking dirty ... already
The steering has been mentioned before but when you turn full lock is sounds and feels like something bad is happening.
I ordered extended leather and silver/grey stitching....well the stitching is only on 1 the driver’s door handle and around the steering wheel and Speedo surround. I was expecting the seats and the passenger door (at least they’d match)
Magnetic ride is great if you are a regular track-day person or you just like to HARD
Otherwise the normal suspension is bumpy enough 4 me
The carbon inlays around the engine really give a wow factor I was really impressed at the garage when I first saw it.
I have been given a FAQ sheet that says to run the engine in etc.... I’ll scan it in 2morrow along with the exclusive broche I have 09/07
Sorry about the shaky pic’s I was so excited I was busting shapes in the reception before being escorted into the room.

I switched my order from Phantom Black with black blade to Phantom Black with silver blade because black with silver blade looks exotic and bold.

The R8 is the only other car on the market, besides the Veyron, that comes in two tones. And what a way to distinguish your black car from the rest of the all black cars out there.

I have seen a Black R8 with silver blade in person and it looks much nicer than in the photo. The silver blade does not look as tall as in the photo and it really grabs you.

Same for me but I'm told this is normal.

I thought the manual was heavy and over sprung too but 700 miles in it feels a lot better. Either I've got used to it or 700 miles in its started to loosen up already! Biggest problem I have right now is pulling away swiftly without over revving the motor or stalling the thing!
