Just as the title says, I thought it would be interesting to see how many GT's we can locate on this forum.
This includes the Spyder as well.
Pictures are always welcome!

I can get things started.

#176/333
Virginia, USA
Purchased new December 2012
4,600 miles
Silver
Carbon Ceramic Brakes
Carbon interior trim
Carbon engine bay trim

Yes, I know my GT emblem is in the wrong place. The clear bra guy reattached them without marking the original position. It's been like that for two years now and getting lazy to place them in the correct location.

#275/333 Orlando area, FL. Suzuka (glossy rather than the matte finish that was also common on the GTs) with silver stitching and piping on the seats etc. Bought in Dec 12 also, when I still lived in Chicago, 17,000 miles on it now. Ceramic brakes, lighted/carbon doorsills. There is a second one nearly identical to mine here but he has the red stitching instead. I am forgetting which number he has. He used to post here some but not so much anymore. Second pic is me in front of the other GT at a track day at Sebring last year. The chances of that with 2 GTs so close alike is rather slim so glad we had a chance to run in the same run group and find each other to get the pics.

Just came across this thread now (kinda annoying how you can't search for "GT" cuz it's too short of a search term).

GT Spyder here :)
#90/333
Tampa, FL
Suzuka Gray Matte (for now; wrap is in the works)

GTMaybe, where in NoVa are you? I grew up in NoVa; lived a bit past Tysons on Rt 7 toward Reston. Man the traffic's horrendous now...

mmaturo, you guys ever have any local events/meets? Orlando's not too far from here, and I'm always up for the drive :) Would also be down for track days at Sebring!

Yes I saw the Heffner TT kit, I am going with the Eurocharged TT, it is all bolt on and uses the standard ECU not a piggyback. Good for around 950BHP just requires an Kevlar clutch upgrade to handle the power.

Eurocharged ar also the guys who do the tunes for alot of the other companies so I feel I will be in good hands.

How do I start a thread here, I can't seem to find how to do it, normally you just click new thread somewhere.

You're absolutely right, Eurocharged does a reflash, not a piggyback, which is the way to go. And I visited their shop in Toronto, Canada. Class acts, AMAZING shop, and praiseworthy worksmanship.

Having said that, the higher HP you have, the worse a turbo setup gets, response-wise. It's VERY hard to get good linear USEABLE power maximized under the curve with a single or traditional (parallel) twin turbo setup. And lag sucks. As a big RX-7 and Supra guy myself, I'm a DIEHARD fan of sequential twins. Practically NO lag, and excellent usable power. But it has its limits when you talk about top end/max hp #s. Which is why IMO, a S/C is the way to go in the R8. Still makes big #s (800+ bph) but with essentially ZERO lag. May not break the dyno record at your next meet, but is a BLAST to drive, cuz its unbelievably responsive...

Hi all, new to the forum and R8 ownership. (Got the car in May, third owner)

I have no 61/333, it's a coupe in British Racing Green with the factory race pack ( half cage, fire extinguisher, two kill switches and Race Mode )

I've not seen another in this colour and only seen an Audi demo car with the race pack!

Love the blue, saw that for sale over the last few weeks, good buy!

I think we all need to see pics of your car (and the interior...the USA cars have none of the goodies you have)...green has to be close to the rarest if not one of one.

#275/333 here.

Very nice Matt, I would have liked the race package but I have not really seen any with it. I am picking mine up tomorrow, flying to Leeds in the morning.

I am going to take it to Donnington on Friday for a track day to give it a shakedown, you should come along it would be great to see two together in the UK and I would love to see the race package.
