I bought a used 2012 R8 and I wanted to get all the options the car came with. Do I just call the dealer and give them the vin ? Anybody else experience this

That's what I did and the dealer supplied the factory build sheet, it even told me what time it came off the production line!

Another option, in the drivers footwell, if you fold down the cover for fuse box, there should be a build sheet taped to the underside of the cover. VAG decoder site : VAG Codes

And another option is that there should be a sticker in the front page of the manual or service booklet with all the option codes on for the car.

I tried every option through contacting dealers, Audi, and Monroney and couldn't get the original options. It is a 2011. However some interesting info about the fuse box, I will check that when I get home.

You unfortunately can’t get the original monroney window stickers for some of the early cars. RNLabas has them for every US GT car though.

Mine didn’t have one. I had to contact AofA customer service and they supplied me with the info in an email.

If you look at my build thread, I have a pic of one I made through MonroneyLabels.com. It’s ok.It’s not the original.

Not really sure why Audi can keep the original build info etc, but keeping a PDF copy, or at least being able to take that data and populate a monroney is not doable. Doesn’t seem like it would take up that much hard drive space in the grand scheme of things.
