Hey R8Talk!

Bobby from Hydra Motor Works just dropping in here to create an ongoing thread with some of the projects/builds that go down here in the shop. Lots of action from V8 R8s to Mclarens and even to Hellcats. I'll keep it R8 related though ;) .

I'll first start off with our shop Gen2 R8 V10+...

Here she is right before she went under the knife. The first round of modifications was a Vorsteiner Carbon Front Lip, H&R Lowering Springs, Kline Innovation Inconel Valvetronic Exhaust and of course - a Hydra Motor Works ECU Tune.

All of our tuning is developed and completed in-house here at our facility in West Palm Beach, FL.

Next stage consisted of a full clear shield done in our complete wash/detail/wrap bay, Hydra ¼ panel logo and a set of Strasse SV10M Deep Concave Carbon Wheels…

Here is how she sits at our Cars and Coffee Palm Beach booth last October and lunch afterwards with our shop LP560 - If you are local, feel free to swing by at each month’s event and say hi!

I will continue to update this thread with more of the R8s we have had in the shop and future builds that commence here as well!

If any members have any questions regarding tuning, exhaust, suspension wheel, etc. - Feel free to reach out to me at the shop, email shoot me a PM on here - I’d be happy to chat!

And we’re back!

Check out one of our more recent projects; an Audi R8 RWS, complete with a full FI Valvetronic exhaust, BMC Filters and our
in-house ECU tune.

Finishing touches included a Signal Green full vehicle wrap, H&R adjustable lowering springs and Rotiform KPS wheels! With these modifications, this R8 looks and sounds the part! The RWS is an absolute animal off the showroom floor, though a little extra power can’t hurt! These modifications, combined with our ECU tune, produce approximately 90 horsepower and 48 ft.lbs over stock exhaust and calibration.

Keep an eye out for more R8 updates to come!
