It is with great regret, with 17 weeks to go until delivery, I have managed
to lose my license for a significant period of time ( 2 - 5 years) pending a court case.

If anyone wants a manual mugello blue R8 in Sydney it is available in week 13 2008.

Looks like I am going to get used to a push bike!!!!!

That's very close to the spec I have ordered, unfortunately I am on the other side of the world. How much for shipping??

Sorry to hear about your penalty.

A rather larger bummer to say the least, what were you doing - getaway driver on a bank heist !

Option, let the wife drive you in what must be the nicest taxi in the world?

I hope you get off lightly and can still live the dream, good luck.

I was speeding in excess of 40 kmph over the limit( again)
and with my past record of fun I am in deep Sh-t
all I can say is look out for hand held radar guns
& I guess gatsos?? in England
Shipping costs??? The car is being built in Germany not OZ
But it is Oz spec which is slightly different to Pommy spec I assume
the car is audi australias property I assume till I pay for it.
The wait list here is 11 months so I guess someone will get lucky
But Audi has my deposit & I am open to offers.
An English license would be a great start!!!!

Any suggestions would be fantastic
My best mate in Sydney is taking delivery tomorrow( 4th to be delivered in Sydney)
It will be a sad & good day depending on how you see it
I will still be with you here for a while
But I guess a 12 cylinder might happen before I get to drive again!!!
Tommorrow I will be at least able to give you a review from the passangers seat.
HAPPY DRIVING GUYS!!!!

Gutted for you M8!!
It's very much a case of "there but for the grace of God" for me so far (touch wood)!!
Sure you'll have no problems with a resale whatsoever.

O I had that once (just after I've dropped the P plate) but was only a 3 months suspension. You must have quite a record.

Bummer... now that I am in Korea (wrong side of the road), and have placed my order, not sure if I can help.

Hi Matt, toal bummer!! I am a defence lawyer in scotland. we have rubbished radar guns over here to the point where some manufacturers have more or less conceded that they are totally inacurate in certain circumstances. Dont know what you did but if there were armco barriers where you were clocked then the radar reading cant be relied on . Equally if there was another vehicle in their line of sight, then cant rely onaccuacy of that either. You may not be doomed yet!!!
