Good point, maybe with the rear power bias the R8 would be better served with that setup? Any tire experts chime in as I know we all want to haul ass in wet conditions. Kidding...well, sort of. Would be great to get some thoughts around the rear bias despite Quattro. Surely sounds that PS4S is “grippier”

Funny. Yea I’m sure I will! The rears are 305/19
I've not lost my ass since I crammed 345's in the back.

I did up the front tires 245/35/19 definitely helps with the steering. But once you tail breaks loose its kinda practice to get it back behind you. A quick let off the throttle slightly and giving it some gas should get you some grip. I know inexperienced drivers want to lift off the gas but you loose the advantage of AWD.

The ps4s are way better cold and definitely handle better in wet conditions. Which is kinda needed here in Houston.

I think my bridgestones were better when fully hot. I did feel more confident in a turn with the bridgestones. I just feel the side walls aren't as stiff on the Michelin tires.
