The author make it sounds like the R8 is a car for those who can't drive and just want to show off. I'll say that he/she has no idea instead.

This article comes from the school of "I'm such a clever journalist, I will pound home an obscure point to the great unwashed" school of writing. Pretty much useless as far as I am concerned.

Tulsa - thanks for the article. So, is the article accurate?
I would not say the article is accurate. The problem
is that the journalists do not get to spend a lot of time with the R8 and
they write what they feel...right or wrong. I just called the article to
your attention as it is another article on the Audi R8. I personally love
my R8 and bought it because I loved the looks and what the car could
do performance wise. As far as I am concerned, the R8 is perfect.
My garage also includes an MB SL55 AMG that I drive occasionally.
The R8 is more satisfying in my book.

That's OK. You could post
your comments about the article on www.autoweek.com since they published
the story. I like to read anything about the R8 that is available. If you see
something of interest, please let us know and post it. We are all interested.
