I have been scouring the internet for some good, safe information on R8 engine and engine bay cleaning. So far, only bits and pieces at best. Is there any source for products, techniques, etc. that I can use to keep my new R8 looking as good as it does for a long, long time?

Not that this is advice, but my local dealer once power-washed the whole engine bay and nothing went wrong. Looked really nice afterward, but I wouldn't do this myself.
I can get it looking very clean with just a very damp microfiber cloth, and some windex-type stuff for the oily glass.
