I have been scouring the internet for some good, safe information on R8 engine and engine bay cleaning. So far, only bits and pieces at best. Is there any source for products, techniques, etc. that I can use to keep my new R8 looking as good as it does for a long, long time?

The same vents that let water in when it rains? I'd venture to guess that the engineers considered water intake there.
