I must be missing something! If you fit a 'performance crank pulley' i.e. under driven, apart from the harmonic balancing effect just like the standard pulley its only other job on a V10 is to drive the alternator. At a guess at 8000rpm that's worth about 0.25 bhp (or maybe less). The other possible benefit is that the engine will speed up and slow down a little quicker but no bhp increase. My question would be 'would you notice'?.
