I was out for a Sunday drive and ran into an older gentleman in his 992 GT3, chatted with him for a bit and took some pictures. I was drooling over the GT3, especially love that Arctic Grey paint, but he couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the Gen 1 R8 is. I may be biased, but man the R8 still looks fresh next to a sports car which is more than a decade newer.

As someone who absolutely loves Porsche and Audi R8’s specific. I agree that the R8 hasn’t aged and will continue to look modern for a long time.

By the way do you happen to have a gated manual V10 ?

Tbh I think the 991.2 was a much better looking gt3 than the current one. The vents on the hood and the non painted front of the bumper just don’t look right imo
But yea the r8 looks good still next to just about anything!

I agree, but I admire the 992's function over form approach. It's entire design prioritizes speed and aero dynamics over beauty and I respect that.

The 992 GT3 is an absolute BLAST on the track. The specific front suspension is incredible. I have a 992TT for a daily but would gladly take a GT3!
