Food for thought, I just had the Escort Max CI installed. It’s a time consuming install on the R8 but not that hard…the alert LED is in the drivers door air vent, which glows flashing red when the system is triggered.

What does it look like mounted on front/grillle?

The radar receiver is hidden in the bumper, you can’t see it. I didn’t install laser jammers but I can add them later...which would need a sneaky install behind the grille

I’ve never messed with them before, but if install is hidden completely behind bumper that’s so convenient. My entire car is getting ripped apart to rewire, so I will look into it with that one. Would be nice to just have a small switch/monitor in the cabin.
