hi fellow owners.

is it advisable to re-spray mine?

i got a Brilliant Red/Brilliant Red (sideblades)

going to change side blade to Carbon Sigma. Does Audi use Nanopaint like the Benz? can i re-spray in other garage and get the same color as Ice Silver?

:)

I too would never respray any car unless it was an old classic that needed
attention....and then it should be the same colour!
A friend bought a preowned Rolls convertible...the paint started peeling and he
called RR to complain. RR asked for the VIN and they said you have a blue
car with white leather. He said no, I have a green car with tan leather. Turns
out the dealer changed the colour for the previous owner and ruined the car.
My friend sold it.

Don't re-spray the car............

If will not look as good and will affect resale value. It may also potentially affect Audi's bodywork anti-corrosion warranty as well.

You can re-spray the sideblades and a good auto paint distributor/bodyshop will be able to mix up paint for you to Audi spec.

(my local garage mixed up dsome touch up paint and its a perfect match)

respraying will definitely affect your resale value,
with that said, if you really don't like the color of your car,
either 1) sell it and order the color you really want
or 2) it's your car, spray it the color you want.

a good paint job requires most of your car's panels to be taken off so that it'll be sprayed inside and out for color consistency. Just keep that in mind. if they don't do this, the interior will still be it's original color when you open the doors or front trunk.

 No need to spray in the garage, the driveway is fine. Be sure it's windy...it will help it dry faster.

saw a S7 repainted a few weeks back. what an horrible thing to do!!! it was the metallic orange color, whoever "tried" made the car look like a cheap kit car.
