So I want my neighbors to not hate me so I wanted a valved Rev 9 exhaust system Rev9, but everything I saw said it wasn't designed for the facelift R8. I was going to have to do some welding on the hangar for it to fit correctly. I purchased this system Rev9 Titanium Valved System from Ebay. I already knew that I was going to take my car almost 2 hours from my house to OC Tuning in Placentia, CA. because they have sold me on their superior customer service and technical ability. They gave me a very reasonable rate including the fab work required for the hangar. I literally dropped off the car yesterday and picked it up today. I get there and notice there's a $250 discount on my bill and they tell me that the system mounted right up with zero welding, fab, or frustration! Weird because the ad states that this system wasn't even designed for my year R8 and the rep at Rev 9 said it would take some welding to "force" it to work. Nope. Bolted right up...somebody tell Rev 9! OC Tuning even took a few pics for me during the install and changed my air filters since they were right there (no charge for labor). If you need your exotic worked on, take it to OC Tuning in Placentia, CA (SoCal). Check their reviews! You will not be disappointed.
Oh, and it sounds amazing! It sounds like I have a new car. It can idle quietly enough for my wife to wonder if I changed anything, but step on the gas and it screams. Its loud AF with no drone! I even had a couple pops during deceleration (no tune-happened only once, but it has burbled a few times). I'll post some videos on my YouTube channel my channelsoon.
