Hi,

I have just upgraded to a v10 s-tronic from a v8 r-tronic. Noticeable improvement.

One question:

When stationary and still in gear the car wants to go without applying any gas. I didn’t notice this on my previous r8.

I would describe the pace it wants to move at a little over a crawl.

Is this anything out of the ordinary?

Thanks

No it isn't, S-Tronic is a fully auto box, so transmission creep is normal on all auto boxes.

It's a DCT versus single clutch automated (where the clutch disengages similar to a manual). So, the ability to creep forward in a DCT is normal behavior. While that resembles behavior of a torque-converter automatic, I would be careful NOT to treat it like one - don't creep forward, especially on a hill. When you take your foot off the brake, be ready to give it gas.
