I'm going as Chef Santiago (of the famous Donut Bar) is sponsoring the event as well and my wife knows him. We're just riding up/down there by ourselves though I've already seen several club meet-ups that are meeting and driving there together. It sounds like it's going to be a big show. Elite Finish is sponsoring the event, they did my F450 with ceramic coating years back.

I just dry wash mine. I use the dust rag car thing (red looks like a mop with red cloth) and then a really awesome dry wash that my detailer (who moved out of CA) told me about. I have never washed my car in 2 years. I never drive in rain and it really never gets dirty. It's garaged 100% of the time except when driving it. It looks showroom all the time.

There were a LOT of cars there today. Wow... An entire row of Lambos (15-20 of them) An entire row of McLarens, at least three of us from this forum in R8's and a lot of JDM's and street rods.

Here's my takeaway. It opens at 9 am but if you want to park in the main parking lot you better get there before 8 am. We got there at 8 am and there was just enough room to squeeze us in.

Seems like clubs got reserved spots, so I'll make an SD R8 Club and make sure we get a row for next time.

Met @lucycan (nice dropped Matt Black with bronze wheels Gen 2 - looked awesome on the road) in Escondido and we rolled there together, when we got there, we saw @Blade Gunner and then there was at least one more white Gen 1 R8 there. So 4 in all.

I wish I could’ve made it. Had more going on today than expected and I’ll be out of state all week. When’s the next at Elite? I’ll be at RSF next Saturday. We need to get together for a drive!

I was talking to @Blade Gunner and he thinks we should have a SD R8 club, so I made a post to gauge interest.

Amazing car and it honestly looks better in person. I was looking at it while driving to the cars and coffee in my rearview and could not stop looking back at it!

Too late for me, I just saw this thread.
Did it have the kids there this time viddying exits and yelling "send it"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
send it? when 25 feet away there are bumpy RR tracks. WTF?

No kids yelling, but I did "send it" as did many others. ha hhah a ha and YES the bumpy rail road tracks.. Miramar Road in general is one of the worse roads.

Who all is planning on going to RSF tomorrow? I’ll probably get there around 8. Might stop by Cielo around 9-9:30. I usually park off of Via De Santa Fe or by the Bank of America. Hope to see some of you guys there!
