Anyone have any knowledge of this brand of exhaust - sounds incredible !!

I am going to meet Fabio the owner of Secret Weapon and the team here in Sao Paulo tomorrow. I just saw an Aventador they made and it sounded bonkers. Can't wait to hear the R8 in person.

Let me know if anyone is interested in one!

I was at their facility today. They are incredibly detail oriented and I am convinced they are true sound engineers for exhaust systems. Absolute nerds.

The R8 indeed has headers. It was their first exhaust made for 5.2L and they are working on a new improved manufacturing system that may sound even better.

I’m waiting for the exhaust to become available to purchase. Did they give any indication on when and rough costs?
They have a 5-6 month wait time. I can get you pricing. Shoot me your R8 info: year and model.

Do you know if they fabricated the headers or were they purchased from an external supplier?
Headers are their product and engineering, with entire production chain being 100% theirs. They have an NDA with a machinery supplier for 3D metal printing.

Do they have a valved version ?
The exhaust is valved and and they carefully eliminate frequencies below 200hz for the absolute “no drone” experience.

Quality welds. As I learned, it doesn't get better than this.

I'll DM you direct contact info to the owner of the company. FYI - the production wait is about 6-7 months.

Hope some forum members on here get their hands on that exhaust soon. As soon as Secret Weapon finishes their R&D (final stages) on the metal 3D printing, they will be shipping a number of them to Miami, from where they'll be dispatching them to US customers.

I just spoke to Fabio, the company owner; they are rebulding their website to be fully have a full feature for the V10 family. They are in final stages testing and should be able to start shipping their systems out in May. Stay tuned!

I'm just wondering how the hell they made an uneven firing V10 (90°-54° intervals) sound even firing (72° interval)? I know it's the headers but what the hell did they do to them, I just can't figure it out? Making certain pipes longer/shorter? Collecting the pipes in a different way? Crossing them over somehow? None of their other work is as revolutionary as the headers on this in my opinion..

Okay so I informed myself again and actually the headers are simply equal length headers and not the special thing. Equal length headers everyone already knows. The special thing (but actually quite simple) is that before the crossover, the midpipe from one bank is 25% longer than the other one, and this offset emulates the 72° even firing interval/bank angle like for example 18° offset crankpins would. So it is revolutionary in the sense that they are the first ones to do it and go viral. Maybe some guy somewhere did it already and only 10 people know, because after all it's not that difficult to pull off.
