I want to start off by saying hello to all. I'm new here and this my very first post. I purchased a 2012 R8 V8 last week. I just ordered some new wheels for the car. 20x9 front and 20x11 rear. My question is about running the correct (or within tolerance) tires for the AWD. I searched the forums but I am still unsure.

Here is the tire setup I'm looking at:

Front 245/30 R20
Rear 295/25 R20

Will this be ok and not harm the AWD system?

Thanks in advance,
Lawrence.

Welcome to the forum, on 20" rims I run 245/30 front and 325/25 rear, I think you need to up the width of your rears to a minimum 305/25. But your selection will not harm the AWD.

I agree, with that 11" rear wheel, a 305 will fit perfectly! I just went up from a 295 to a 305 on my stock wheels and it looks much better IMO!
