I have done about 12,000km so far and the P Zero seems to be losing the grip gradually since 7,000km. I am looking at replacements now but was told that the only approved tyre is the P Zero, which I am not very keen to be honest. I am leaning towards Michelin SP2 and would appreciate anyone for their comments. Thanks in advance.

PS2's are the way to go.

They tend to not give quite as much notice as to when they're going to let go as the P-Zeros, but other than that, I feel that they pretty much kick the P-Zeros to the curb in every aspect.

The Zeros always gave me an out of touch, slightly skittish feeling.

Wet weather fun w/the PS2's is good. They don't tend to hydroplane as quickly as the Zeros.

The stock tires are probably the best all around tire for here in Southern California or any Hot time in the States. When the Pirellis were new they were CONFIDENCE INSPIRINg. May be the Toyo R888 street/race compound will be fun. My car is loud and I would'nt hear any tire sounds.
