Congrats. I too found it difficult to get detailed information splitting manual from auto, coupe from spyder and various options. I talked to someone off the record at Audi and they told me the following;
About 20% overall are Sypders and about 5-10% are manual. A gated spyder is very rare but even a gated R8 is rare.
They told me most gated purchases were to save money but as you probably know they are worth more now. If you have a 'optioned' R8 manual, it's even more rare. Hope you enjoy the ride

What's the source on this? I have a 2014 spyder 6MT which according to this was never produced!

 

I have 2014 manual Spyder which shows no production on this chart, that's why I was looking for the source. Audi told me that manual is very rare

 

That's interesting. Puts the whole chart in question of accuracy. Has anyone else seen a gated facelift V10 spyder?
