Hello everyone,
New member here
. I have a 23 Performance RWD for about 12 months now and I really love this car. I have been slowly adding upgrades to it which is something I really enjoy doing. Anyway so here goes my question for the European OPF/GPF equipped cars. I know if I delete the filters I will need to tune the ECU so my question is:
Can I just do just an OPF delete tune without altering the A/F ratio to gain more power? Will I lose low end torque or power if I remove the OPF and the reason I am asking is because a lot of modern OPF equipped cars have their ECU’s calibrated to work with back pressure. I don’t want to alter the A/F as I think 570 HP is more than enough but would really love to get a proper sounding V10
All feedback is greatly appreciated and I apologize if perhaps this matter has been brought up before, just couldn’t find anything.
Regards,
Phil
