Generally remove the surrounding plastic panels which requires removing wipers. Wipers may technically require a puller, I didn’t need one. Mark their OEM location on windshield for safety and put marks on wiper/knurled post the arms mount to to index them to one another. Then just remove the frunk from what I recall.

This is for Gen 1, and I believe even for gen 1 you can take the frunk out without taking wipers off. The gen 2 frunk is different and more user friendly to removing.

I don’t know if Google is producing different results from this side of the pond but I did try that first and found nothing.

If I click your link I get a 404 message. I’ve found how to remove the front bumper - which I do need anyway, but not how to get the trunk out to expose the wiring.

Gen 2 is easier than gen 1. YouTube seems to be loaded with Gen 1 videos on this but nothing really on Gen 2.

Just swapped my battery (gen 2). Took about 15 minutes total to get to the battery. I bet the next time it would be 5 to 10. Pretty easy.
