OP - The RWS you drove, did it have the "premium package"? When I was looking for my RWS, i did see quite a few RWS WITHOUT the premium package in the build. For me, my RWS had to have the Premium Package which it does.

 

Yes, I remember it having B&O audio. I also remember the dash, on the passenger side was a textured plastic material where the V10 plus I drove was leather around that area.

 

The Canadian RWS had some of the listed fine Nappa leather package standard offering as we only had 2 options - Sport or Bucket Seats, Black or white exterior. Sorry could not answer question based on US cars.

Whole dash ,glove box , center console and doors are all smooth leather on my 17 v10 plus

 

I have an ‘18 rws in states. It has the textured leather. Haven’t seen a rws with the smooth leather.

 

So the textured part is actually leather? If so, that's nice.

 

Those pics reminded me, for such a premium product I would expect they would issue each car with a unique number instead of "1 of 999". I wonder if there are any owners out there who think they have the first car off the line

All, was there a definitive answer on the RWS leather dash.

If an RWS has the premium package then does it have full leather on dash like the plus? Or is it the textured material?

 

I have yet to see a RWS in the US with the smooth texture (leather) on the dash and doors.

 

It’s the cheap R8. That’s why.
