Not sure if its just straight up bad luck or that the michigan luxury car services are just complete crap.. but just had my car professionally wrapped and not too happy with the end result.
First, most of my screws from the blades are missing, second they super glued them back in place using gorilla glue, and guess what it looks like crap as the gorilla glue is seeping through the blade crevices on multiple places and makes the car look like complete **** from the back. Luckily the glue snaps off pretty easily by using a knife, but honestly I dont have time for that nor really the patience.
Next they wrapped my mirrors differently, where one has a bit more exposed than the other and I was told they had to do it this way since they couldnt get the wrap inside the crevice of the mirrors. They also debadged my car but I explicitly told them to put them back on since I didnt want to do it myself nor do i trust myself in lining it up perfectly. This wasnt done either.
Third the sensor in front of the car was pushed in somehow and now there is a hole where the sensor is supposed to go. I can feel it when i put my finger in there, but no way can I pull it out or get it back to where it was. What should I do? I could vacuum it out and glue the sides and hope it sticks? He told me that it was loose like that when they started doing the work, but Im pretty confident it wasnt like that..
Although I do like the overall look for the car, I did end up paying him and taking the car home. Any ideas what I should do now? The super glue part really drove me crazy and doesnt seem professional at all.... Im about to email them and ask for a partial refund or I will be posting negative reviews about them and getting all my buddies to do it too.
Also to top it off he convinced me to get avery satin black wrap... then I realized that it was discontinued... so lets say I need the side door to be redone in the future, like I hit something or someone peels it off.. Id have to redo the whole car since you aparently cant order satin avery anymore...
