But there’s so many more unanswered questions here. Keyless entry, gen 2 push button start WITHOUT the ignition, and actually useful info screen!

 

Here are the mods that were being proposed. Someone will need to figure out how to adapt for the R8. I’m not interested in perusing them.

Color screen in Gauge Cluster using Color MFD / Color MFA:

Keyless Push-to-Start is accomplished using remote start system and leaving a key hidden away in the system under the dash:
